Easy-To-Make Tostada Recipe

Here’s a favorite - our yummy, easy-to-make tostada recipe!
Ingredients:
8 corn tortillas
1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
1 bell pepper, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 can refried beans
1 cup shredded cheese
1 avocado, sliced
Salsa
Salt, pepper, garlic powder and cumin
Instructions:
Prepare the Corn Tortillas:
Place tortillas on a greased baking sheet and spray top with non-stick. Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 375°F for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Remove when tortillas turn golden brown.
Cook the Ground Turkey:
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
Add the ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Season with spices.
Once the turkey is cooked through, remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
Sauté the Peppers and Onions:
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the diced peppers and onions over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes, until they soften and slightly caramelize.
Assemble the Tostadas:
Spread a generous layer of refried beans on each crispy corn tortilla.
Top with the cooked ground turkey, sautéed peppers, and onions.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese and let it melt (you can place them under a broiler for a minute if you want the cheese to melt quickly).
Add the Toppings:
Top each tostada with fresh avocado slices and a spoonful of salsa.
Serve and enjoy! 🌮
